With Georgia, The Light Below release an extraordinary post-rock album on January 23, 2026.
The album combines expansive instrumental soundscapes with centuries-old Georgian vocal traditions, creating a powerful dialogue between contemporary post-rock and traditional folk music.

For Georgia, the band collaborated with the Georgian women’s choir Akhla, whose traditional songs originate from various regions of Georgia. These pieces were carefully reinterpreted and newly arranged to merge seamlessly with The Light Below’s instrumental compositions.

A highlight of the album is “Tsinskharo”, a traditional song that gained international recognition through Werner Herzog’s Nosferatu (1979). The new interpretation will be released as the first single and accompanied by a two-part music video.

Georgia unfolds a distinctive sonic landscape of monumental guitar walls, introspective passages, and epic crescendos, bridging cultural heritage and modern post-rock aesthetics.
